It all started with a line-drawing of an Octopus whose story came to symbolize a multiplicity of pain to healing expressions.

K Trigger is an interdisciplinary artist who creates visual art and music to enrich stories that communicate wonder along the path to healing from trauma. Born in Ypsilanti, Michigan, K Trigger lives in Oakland, CA where their zines have been featured in the East Bay Alternative Book and Zine Festival in 2021 (hybrid online and in-person). In March 2022 they will present at the Detroit Zine Fest (in-person), the all online Artspace Book + Zine Fest, Ontario, Canada and the hybrid online/in-person Santa Rosa, CA Zine Fest. They hold bachelors and masters degrees in Public Policy from Mills College.
